I like to think of myself as caring, a good listener who likes to help others. When I'm not busy with church work, I like to spend time in my garden. I enjoy visits to the coast or countryside. I prefer spending time in the outdoors rather than in towns and cities. I am not a driver ( only very locally when I have to ). I am feeling very unsure about this. Looking for friendship in the first place, and take it from there . If the chemistry is there, then who knows. I am very down to earth. Don't keep up with fashion, makeup etc. , but that doesn't mean although I may not be super smart, I think I'm quite tidy, and try to make an effort when meeting someone new. I have recently joined the local u3a, so that is helping me to socialise a little more.
I would like to meet a nice gentleman who is happy to simply be a good friend with whom I could meet up with occasionally for chats, coffee, lunch, outings, or theatre trips, short walks etc. I have recently realised that I value my independence ( perhaps a little too much ), so just having a nice friend to meet up with from time to time would be nice , but for the right person in whose company I feel happy, then hopefully that could change. Maybe I am asking too much, or too little, but maybe there is a like minded gentleman out there somewhere. If so, please get in touch, and I'll reply - somehow.
