I am interesting & interested, a thinker, kind & unselfish, and am looking for someone who is similar in these ways. I love theatre, museums, art exhibitions, films, reading & 80’s funk. I also can’t resist a musical. I am an Oxbridge educated retired criminal barrister. I now volunteer as a debt adviser for a charity. I studied politics and enjoy discussing current affairs, I also love history and am planning to start a masters in September. What to study though?! So much to discover but am veering towards classical civilisation. Travelling is a passion - central & south America next on the list (Trump-land now a no no sadly…), and I’m a South East Asia virgin so keen to explore there too. Most recently I’ve been to Chicago, Rajasthan and Copenhagen. An autumn of contrasts!
I also enjoy dog walks along the Jurassic Coast and in Richmond Park. Coffee. Fossicking. Cooking for friends and family, eating out, butter beans & chickpeas in all guises. Antique shops. NYT puzzles. Beryl Bainbridge & Rose Tremain. Going to the dump. Washing mud off my dog.
