About him
I think the fundamental word that describes me would be ‘creative’. I’ve spent most of my life exploring the subjects I love, which are, in no set order : art, music, history and nature.. all the good stuff. I've spent quite a few years getting these ideas together so they can make a coherent business, and.. that's the position I'm at, at the moment. It's all far too long-winded to explain here, apart from to say that part of it involves a new electric guitar I've invented.
The flip side of this is that I haven't had what's commonly called a conventional career path. I'm not materialistic, and am more into experiences, learning, education and stimulation, than I am possessions and making the neighbours jealous. If you're looking for a guy who likes big cars and playing golf, then all the best , and I hope you find him, but, as George Michael didn't say, I'm REALLY not your man.
But, the best part of all of this is that at 51, I can say, hand on heart, that after a lot of prep, the life I've always wanted, really IS just beginning.

Last summer I had the amazing privilege of being a Ranger on the Northumberland coast, looking after the nests of three rare species of birds.
Four years ago, I spent six months working on a farm in the rainforest in New Zealand.
Five years ago, I used to busk next to Blackfriars Bridge, on the South Bank, in London.

Who am I looking for ?
Somebody who’s taken on life a bit, has learned that we’re in a bigger story than the one that tells us to just be bothered with our selves, and has come out of that a lovely, creative, caring, questioning person.
In the past, I've had those types of relationships in which you feel like you’re treading on eggshells, trying to keep the other person happy. But, everyone drops clangers every day, and I'm looking for someone who thinks that clangers should be a reason to laugh.
