I have varied interests and am very open to new experiences, though I am definitely not an adrenaline junkie. My passions are travelling, the outdoors, being in nature., swimming, gardening and music. I love long walks in forests and a good hill especially when the view is worth the climb. I have been fortunate enough to visit many countries in Europe, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
To relax, I like to meet up with my family and friends for a coffee and a good catch up, also enjoy reading fiction. I have a positive outlook on life and like to think that I live in the moment.

I'm looking for someone who is comfortable in their own skin. Someone who is honest, independent, confident and who doesn't take themselves too seriously. A sense of humour is essential. Some one who isn't afraid to dance around the kitchen when an 80s song is played and is equally comfortable walking in the rain across a muddy field. A person who is sensitive to the needs of others and like me cannot abide injustice, homophobia, racism. My political leaning is left of centre, I am an avid radio 4 listener, but can live without the Archers! Someone who takes an interest in world affairs and history.
