Live in the London suburbs, but love the countryside. I enjoy countryside walks, cosy firesides, family time, seeing friends, pub lunches, seaside. My friends describe me as kind, easy going, good company, with a lively (sometimes ridiculous) sense of humour. I love animals, and I have a gentle, obedient, medium-sized dog who charms everyone he meets. I enjoy swimming, reading, music (Classical and pop/rock, folk, and discovering stuff I haven't listened to before), walking, dancing very badly, being a grandma, being silly, going out, staying in, pottering about, messing about in the garden (I won't say "gardening" because that makes it sound as though I know what I'm doing), and I'm looking forward to trying a few new things in retirement. I would love to meet a kind, romantic, genuine, easy going man who would make me feel emotionally secure, would make me laugh, and who would embrace being part of my family as well as us doing things as a couple. I'm generally up for having a go at something new - I've driven a tractor and a JCB, I've zip-wired, I had a go at water-skiing (that didn't go well, mind you). I tend to be drawn to taller men, I think they make me feel more protected. Don't want a smoker. I don't need anything flashy, I'm a girl of simple tastes.
