I am close to my children and family and I've had a long professional career. I am independent and am not looking for someone to take care of me but for a similarly independent person to share interests and good times.

I enjoy walking in countryside with friends..now I am partly retired from a long career in teaching .legal and social work, I have the time for more appreciation of wildlife and nature, my alter ego is a little bit pagan and hippy so I’ve done well to keep that side of me hidden in my professional career!
I enjoy my garden..it’s small but I like to plant for the butterflies and bees.
I’m an avid reader and try to keep up my awareness of world issues.
