About her
I’m an educated, well balanced woman with plenty of plans on my bucket list but would love a friend to share the ride. Never been to Scotland for example. I love theatre and classical music. I volunteer in a local theatre, I have a masters degree in European Theatre from UKC and a lapsed Equity card (acting and dancing). It would be the icing on the cake to find a dance partner - Ceroc, ballroom- don’t care, I’m a quick learner. I used to turn heads but I’m not the “looker” I once was and all my recent photos are terrible. I scrub up well and watch my weight. Not looking for love, just a good friend and companion for days out or holidays if we get along well. I have a smallish dog and an even smaller camper van so trips would involve “roughing it” a bit. Dog is non- negotiable so uk trips only. Ability to share driving essential! Oh! - I hate curry or anything hot and spicy, I’m a terrible cook and I eat mostly ping meals, fruit and salad. All washed down with a G&T or glass of wine - just the one. I’m trying to learn Spanish. I like cricket - hate football ( well, football behaviour really). I do tai chi. I enjoy crafts and have my own workshop. I’ve got two grown up married sons, no husband, one grandson. I looked after mum with dementia til she died and then dad til he went into care. He is 95. Put myself aside and forgot how to have fun. Need someone to help me enjoy life again. I have my own house and am solvent if I don’t go mad with the pension pennies.

I’m looking for someone intelligent, well balanced, with no complicated domestic or emotional problems. Are you interested in camper van travel, dancing, classical music and theatre? A dog friendly person is essential. If an evening under stars wrapped in blankets, reading, listening to the radio and talking about interesting subjects are your kind of fun then we might get along well. A glass of wine too? I’m not looking for romance long or short term. I need a friend with freedom to jump on board as my companion on day trips or short breaks. NT properties, seaside jaunts, London theatre evenings etc. or just an evening in a local pub. Age is just a number and beauty is only skin deep (not important) but you need to be able to walk a couple of miles a day and slim enough to move round the camper van in comfort.
