About her
Living 12 miles to the East of Limoges in an old stone built house. A quick witted, intelligent creative lady who very much enjoys cooking, entertaining and needlework. I also like gardening, but not the heavy work, I leave the pruning of hedges to others.The photo that was taken in the evening, was in Bangkok last April at a cheese and wine party, whilst visiting my son.
I think that sitting around a table and chatting in either English or French whilst drinking a nice red wine is a lovely way to spend time together. So too is going for a walk in the beautiful countryside of France. I am not really a city person, though appreciate the chance to visit one occasionally or to go to see an exhibition.
I have been widowed twice. My first husband was 20 years older than me and my second was 3 years younger than me, which only goes to show that you cannot help just who you fall in love with.
My working life has been varied, firstly an instructor in the Navy, then after cruising in our 10m yacht, and finally arriving in the B.V.I. I /we worked in the yachting world. Then on returning to the UK in 1990 to Shropshire my years were spent as a senior school teacher.
I go to several exercise classes a week, yoga, Pilates and what the French call Gym Douce
With wood burners, a Labrador and three chickens to maintain I am usually in jeans, however when entertaining or going out, I much prefer to wear a dress with a nice pair of heels.
I cannot abide poor manners: tattoos and smoking are both an absolute NO

A man who is interested in many things and likes to discuss them, be that food ,travel, music or his latest hobby. He is likely to be well educated, but above all he must be a kind, humerous person with a real warmth in the expression in his eyes.
