About her
Hello Stranger. Now my divorce is nearly finalised, I’m hoping to find a man to add the sparkle to my life that has been missing for a long time. I think most people are looking for their soul mate, someone to fall head over heels in love with, who becomes the centre of their world. That’s definitely me. I’m a positive, optimistic person, but very conscious that life can be short, so, to save time, I’m being totally honest and open about myself. If you’re reading this and you feel a connection, wherever you are, I’d love to hear from you.
So, at heart, I am a free spirited hippy. Always have been. I am a spontaneous, artistic, outgoing, adventurous, sexy, kind, understanding, straightforward, genuine, honest person with a strong desire to make the world a better place. I am all of those things, but I also have responsibilities, so if you’re offering 6 months of the year on your yacht in the Med, don’t bother favouriting me! The responsibilities I have are my wonderful, autistic daughter who currently lives with me. She is one of the best/purest human beings on this planet and a complete joy to have around. I also have awesome grandchildren and sweet dogs. So, I can do holidays, I just have to make some arrangements first.
Hobbies wise…I play clarinet and saxophone in various ensembles, plus a bit of accordion, which was useful when I was a primary school head teacher. I sew and draw and love to get immersed in a design project.
I’m fortunate to be healthy and I like to keep fit, but I’m not sporty…more of a country walker with a bit of yoga/pilates/gym thrown in.
I grew up in Surrey, but have also lived in North Yorkshire, France and now, Suffolk. The south of France climate suited me better than up north!
I’m interested in people’s ideas and trying to understand what’s going on in the world. If you have strong right wing political views we’re going to struggle to get on easily.
I like to see the funny side of life and firmly believe it’s the best way to stay young.

What I’m looking for is…a tall man (that’s the shallow bit! Just because I’m tall and physically attracted to tall men) plus a man who is kind and makes me laugh. I don’t need an endless stream of jokes, just a twinkle in your eye, a quick sense of humour and a ready smile. That’s attractive. I like an intelligent, open minded man who listens as well as talks, a negotiator who sees the end goal and is prepared to compromise along the way to get there. I think we all need to keep listening and learning. You’ve just got to try and understand another point of view and that way leads to peace, fairness and love. I’d like to meet a man who appreciates the free spirited hippy in me and cherishes that. I’d cherish his qualities too. Cherishing is key.
