I am a romantic, tactile person and have a happy positive outlook on life, generally looking to see the best in people. I am still young at heart and keep active. I am blessed with a wonderful family and friends who I enjoy spending time with. I am a practical person and I love sewing and craft activities and also cooking, baking, gardening and DIY, and I enjoy singing, I have recently joined a local community choir, and I'm loving it. I enjoy the simple things in life - a walk in the country nature all around you, what more could you want. I love to be by the sea - and a good paddle if I get the chance!! I like to go for a drink or a meal in a country pub but also like the cinema, the theatre and any live music events or a quiet night in with good company and good conversation. I am a member of the National Trust and love visiting new places when I get the chance. I enjoy swimming and also watching sport - I love football! I also love animals. My view is life is to short and we should take opportunities that come our way. I have a good sense of humour and don't take myself too seriously. If you are looking for daily glitz, glam and high heels, then I am not for you. I am more at home in jeans, wellies or walking boots down a country lane, but I do take care of myself and I like to dress up and have trips out too and I scrub up well for those special occasions!
