Having led a full & varied life, I find that retirement comes with the added pleasure of getting to know more people like me. I enjoy reading, music, except pop & garage, walking & getting to know the area in which I live. Sociable without being vivacious, considerate to others, know when to hold my tongue but able to laugh at the absurdity of other people. Want to be able to pick up the phone to say 'Lets go to lunch' or 'Fancy going to the cinema tonight?', without the teenage angst of being rejected.
I'm positive in my outlook, wanting to believe in the best of humanity, but will stand up for the oppressed when needs must.
