I'm a culture - vulture and love classical music, opera, ballet, theatre, films and art. Music is my big passion, being a former concert pianist and trumpeter for many years. But my tastes are pretty eclectic.
A former city-slicker working as Management Consultant and then Banker (both the butt of all jokes and criticism, yet there are worse!) and now part-time teacher and Non Exec Director.
I also enjoy fine wine and gourmet food, being someone who loves cooking and hosting large gatherings of friends and family......actually just parties.
I have been blessed enough to have had the luxury of travelling extensively for both work and pleasure as I love experiencing new cultures and finding new places to explore on this amazing planet of ours.
Equally I enjoy the pleasures of long country walks followed by a warm log-fire or tipple down the local pub. [Fortuitously, I live within 30 seconds of the oldest pub in Britain]
