About her
Well… Firstly Hello! This is so new to me! I have never written a dating profile before. It feels like a job application… so please be kind!
I am a retired Adult tutor and thoroughly enjoyed working in Further and Higher education.. and diversified into other settings including NHS Mental Health and Charities.
I am lucky to be fit and healthy and enjoy a good social life with friends. I practice Yoga and enjoy walking and occasionally swimming.
I enjoy reading and occasionally writing ( just for myself!)
I like the cinema.. when I get the opportunity. I enjoy eating out…. but a picnic on a walk in the countryside or by the coast is just as fun. Having fun is very important. Plus a good sense of humour. I love people who make me laugh and giggle,
I love to talk and enjoy good conversation .. and to listen too!
I’m still curious about life and other people and love to learn. At the moment I’m attending an Art Appreciation class.
I have two wonderful grown up children and four delightful grandchildren, who all live a distance away, but I see them whenever possible.
And now I would like to find a special person who I can share things with…. whether it be a walk , a sunset, a meal, a picnic , listening to music, a movie on the TV… and of course good conversation! And be silly with too!!

There are of course qualities I like in a man… and I’ll make a list! But I feel it’s also about that indefinable connection and attraction.
I’d like to meet a person who is kind and caring and tolerant of others. Someone who is intelligent and enjoys good conversation …a good listener. A man who has a good sense of humour … a bonus for me is if they can make me giggle.
Someone who is reasonably fit and enjoys walking in the countryside or by the coast.. at the same time is happy to snuggle down in front of a fire with a glass of wine ( and a bowl of olives… a favourite of mine… but doesn’t need to be yours)
