About her
I am independent having divorced and lived by myself for over 20 years. I am fairly relaxed and have a good sense of humour. I enjoy my hobbies of writing, both local history and poetry, botanic painting and a bit of gardening. I try and walk every day, locally, although don’t do long walks these days. I’ve been travelling quite a bit with solo group holidays which have been great, love Italy, and will continue to travel abroad as long as I can afford it, and the climate is not too hot. I love cats, never lived with a dog so don’t really know them. I am interested in environmental concerns and politics.

I am looking for someone who is kind, thoughtful, left leaning, perhaps Green, reads a lot and keeps up with politics so is chatty and interesting. Preferably someone around my age and living within a reasonable travelling distance, also trustworthy and straightforward. It would be good to have a companion to go out with to theatre, concerts, exhibitions, restaurants and away on holiday, with hopefully some romance. I hope this isn’t expecting too much, we will see.
