About her
Passionate about the visual arts (I trained at the RCA) ...particularly interested in contemporary art and architecture. Feel very lucky living in London so I can get to see so many amazing exhibitions. Not just the major museums and galleries but love London's small commercial galleries...
I used to go to the theatre more than I do at the moment. Prefer plays to musicals (especially National Theatre/Donmar/Royal Court productions)...cinema (prefer art house to blockbusters)...reading - Ian McEwan and William Boyd are favourite authors.
Food is important to me and a major interest..particularly enjoy going to explore markets and cooking and entertaining at home but also enjoy eating out. [I really am mad about chocolate]
Love short breaks in European cities where I can get a food/art/architecture fix....also very happy lying on a beach ...most recently I seem to go annually to Paxos . [boring to go back to the same place I know but it ticks lots of boxes for me...I've already booked a villa there for September]
Also hoping to get to the the Venice Biennale again this year...and was thrilled to be able to get to Paris for the recent Rothko show.
My musical tastes haven't changed for a few decades so still listen to the Stones, Beach Boys, Beatles, Motown, David Bowie etc...my children are beginning to realise I was cool all along! I enjoy classical music too and sometimes go to Glyndebourne (when I'm invited) ..
I'd love to find someone who likes some of the above but happy to to take me on new journeys....
In a past life I was a beauty editor - these days much more low key [the Chanel suits still languish in the wardrobe..]...but more time to do my own artwork again...very happy without copy deadlines!! These days I use my home as a location for filming - the most exciting was when Brad Pitt filmed here...
