I love life, music, nature and beautiful things.

I'm empathetic and a good listener. People tend to feel at ease with me, and I'm told I have a calm and relaxing demeanour (even when I'm not feeling particularly calm!). I don't judge people and take my time to get to know them.
I'm equally as happy in peaceful and quiet surroundings as bustling social places. I'm not the loud and boisterous type, but I like to have fun. I have a gentle, fairly dry sense of humour.
I like to be out and about and have done quite a bit of travelling recently, I've grown to especially love Italy. Rome and Venice wow me for different reasons. Venice I like without all the people, Rome for its history and amazing architecture - and wonderful vibrancy with all the people.
Almost as good: Walking in the beautiful Peak District. Basking in the sun in the park near where I live :) ... I don't do too much basking though. Basking in the beauty of the woman I will come to adore.
I am happy with my own company but after a few months of being by myself after a long relationship I'm missing being close to someone. For the right person I can be very affectionate.
I love music, listening to a wide range and also playing my own music (mostly guitar). I don't have background music on all the time, but certainly an hour or two a day.
I look younger than I am. I've put the age that I look, (hope that isn't a deal breaker!) partly because I just have a more youthful outlook and am more like my friends in their 40s than my friends in their 50s.
