Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this
I guess I do have a wish list of what constitutes my ideal friend, lover and partner. I’ve got one because I’ve lived long enough to know myself, what I want and what I prefer to live without.
For those seeking women without baggage - how can we have travelled so far along life's path without having accumulated any? - it's what makes us the resilient, positive, beautiful people we are today.
I'm in touch with my inner child, active, sound in mind and body, or so I tell myself. I wear purple not because I'm old but because it's my favourite colour. If you are actively sporty I'm happy to support you. Keeping fit and healthy is important to me and since I'm not sporty, ( have a bike that I only ride in summer and I keep meaning to try yoga) I do it by walking and eating healthily - I do have plenty of treats! Cooking is something I enjoy, especially if it's not just for myself. I'm talking proper food cooked from scratch. I rarely drink alcohol because I don't particularly enjoy it and don't need it either to relax or have fun. I'd be uncomfortable being around a heavy drinker.
I'm independent and have many interests although it would be great if there was some overlap with yours. If you happen to be creative in some way, arty or a musician etc that would be amazing!
My family and close circle of true friends, particularly my very best one, are incredibly important to me. I don't watch much TV, I listen to Radio 4, try to keep abreast of what's going on in the world and I'll never come to terms with the lunacy of Brexit. I paint and exhibit my work, my garden brings me joy, reading every day is a must, music has a powerful effect on me, I love nature, walking and being outdoors but not in vile weather and I need a sunshine holiday to get me through the winter. I enjoy cultral city breaks but feel truly at home in the countryside.

Old fashioned values are a must, I'm not seeking perfection in another human being, don't believe it exsists other than in nature - springtime, sunsets, rainbows, the Mediterraean Sea etc. I'm full of imperfections, contradictions, complications, OCDs, foibles and I'm not averse to releasing my inner drama queen if the occassion warrants it - I make no apologies for that - I'm a passionate Mediterranean woman so it's in my genes! The upside of that is I'm also genuine, compassionate, empathetic, warm, open, demonstrative, exhuberant, impulsive, extremely tactile, loving and fiercely loyal. In fact I'm pretty full-on really, once I know I can trust you enough to be myself!
I have no pets, (apart from my pond goldfish) because, amongst other things, I enjoy having freedom and opportunities for spontenaity too much.
Not looking for high adventure and thrill seeking, just want to share simple pleasures and not so simple ones too. All the usual stuff that everyone lists. I'm absolutely not interested in a casual relationship. Ultimately, I want a partnership based on love, respect, trust, joy, fun, compromise, emotional intelligence and speedy conflict resolution. Looking for a meeting of minds both intellectually and on a deep emotional level; a friend and future partner who is unafraid to be sensual and tactile and seeks a deep intimate relationship. I don't care about fault or blame and refuse to engage in mind games. I do my best to treat others in the way I'd like to be treated myself. Generally, I'm easy-going, except when I'm not!
