About him
Hi, I'm a divorced father of a fabulous grown-up son (well, of course, I would say that!) living on the Hampshire, Berkshire border.
While writing this I'm listening to one of my favourite bands (Elbow), music is something I love, particularly seeing bands live. I've recently been lucky to see The Rolling Stones, Eagles, Elbow, Foo Fighters, Echo & the Bunnymen, and Deacon Blue, a few more are already planned.
I'm fortunate to enjoy my job, and have no thoughts of stopping just yet. I generally work from home but visit our office in London a couple of days each week, allowing me to enjoy good restaurants in the company of great friends.
I like to keep reasonably fit, visiting the gym (what fun!), cycling (actually fun), and playing golf (really fun!). I have also started Pilates but not convinced we are due a long term relationship! I played hockey, and both played and coached cricket at my local club. I also enjoy watching sport from the sidelines. Occasionally, you may find me at a rugby match supping a pint of guinness 😊 and you're very welcome to join me!
Friends tell me I have a good sense of humour and certainly I enjoy having a good laugh. I am calm-mannered, reliable, honest, and easy going. I'm quite confident, but can be reserved when I first meet people, I warm up quickly though 😎.
A decent cook, I will have a go at most things, but please don't ask me to bake anything! Good food, washed down with great wine, is a real joy.
I'd love to experience new things, I would really love to watch an opera, preferably in Italy.
I have a wonderful circle of friends and family, and I enjoy a reasonably busy social life. However, thinking of someone else and sharing special moments with them is so important.
