About him
I hope you’ll find me intelligent (but not too intellectual), kind, thoughtful, and basically uncomplicated. I come with no baggage – fully divorced, my daughter has moved out, and I have no pets.
I have varied interests – the usual cinema, theatre, concerts, musicals, wherever they are on; and also enjoy country walks and bike rides, especially if they include food and drink! I also enjoy watching live sport - tennis especially. Not keen on football though!
Would also be up for visiting galleries, exhibitions, and NT properties (I am a member, and did some volunteering recently). I’m also a member of the V&A.
I can cook (to a recipe!), but it's more fun when I have someone to cook for.
Someone to plan holidays, city breaks, and weekends with would be great too, as I haven't travelled much for a while.
Playing in an occasional band is also an interest, and I love going to see live music (especially blues, jazz, rock and soul), either locally or in town.

Well ... friendship initially of course ... perhaps it could become something lasting if we’re lucky. Hopefully we will both have free time for days and evenings out, and eventually some weekends, city breaks or longer trips away without too much planning.
Some shared interests would be good, but I'm open to trying new activities.
I’m looking for someone with whom I can feel relaxed and comfortable - someone who would like to be together, but also has their own space and time. Closeness would also be important. And I hope we can smile and laugh together on the way to wherever we’re going!
