My approach to life is a bit like my approach to gardening- wait and see and apply a little nurture and tlc - if it doesn’t thrive I can pull it up or move it later! It’s not all about horticulture though, and I’m a beginner at that anyway. I regularly visit London for social reasons, often to see exhibitions or just enjoy the city. I grew up at the end of the district line, (Essex girl), but have always felt drawn to the coast, especially Suffolk. I’ve lived in London, (Soho), but the twists & turns of life have often placed me in villages, Sussex & now Herts and I do love to hear birdsong. While I’m down to earth enough to get mud under my fingernails in the garden I also love to get dressed up for an evening or day out. Think I’ve made a good job of solo motherhood, that is pretty much over now… I still work, part time, (graphic design), will need to carry on for a while but doing it from home is ok. Now it’s my time to see what life has left for me. I can do it alone but so many things are better shared!
