Hi, I am friendly person and enjoy meeting people although somewhat shy, even at my age. I lost my wife of many years about 18months ago. I love animals and have to dogs (beagles), I am their housekeeper in reality, and they know I am soft too soft with them, but are very loving in return,
I am more introvert than extravert bit willing to help people when they need it. I an honest person, who is genuine with people.
I like the countryside and open spaces, I am not happy in crowded noisy situations or places. I walk the dogs for an hour every morning, and attempt to keep fit with and hour on the exercise bike every day. I am a helper at an old peoples friendly club and try to chat to the lonely ones.
My hobbies cryptic crosswords, and enjoy chess, My main hobby is reading, I love historical fiction, especially the Tudor period.
I enjoy music, and have a very eclectic taste from classical/opera up to indie music. Do not like rapping types of music.
My outlook is i try to maintain a positive attitude in this increasingly difficult world.

Someone with an honest kind nature who loves animals especially dogs. I would like someone with a similar personality and not too extraverted. Would like someone to have intelligent conversation with, not necessarily academic but can communicate on varied subjects.
