About her
My interests and work centre around music, mostly classical. I've been a runner for years (keen sense of competition!) and although walking is more my thing right now, I really respect sport and fitness. Fairly curious and cultured, I love green space, tranquility, the written word, fine TV drama, and a glass of good red wine.
I can be bright and sociable but am more of an introvert than an extrovert. I like my own space, and don't tend to follow the crowd.
I've been told – by a generous friend – that I am: warm, sensitive, tenacious, self-effacing, wise, cautious, expressive, analytical, and both feisty and gentle...
I do tend to show a lot of enthusiasm at a ‘disappointing’ British summer, but that's mainly because humid heat is not my thing. (That said, I'm writing this having just been involved a gig performing to thousands of umbrellas... there are limits!)

I'm looking for someone bright, fit and settled in themselves... with no allergy to cats! Someone who is not looking for anything too intense unless it’s what happens naturally.
An appreciation of music would be good, but it's not something I need (or want) to talk about all the time.
Kindness and intelligence are important to me – as is humour, though of course that's about compatibility!
