About her
I'm kind and thoughtful. Friends say I'm funny, reliable and resilient. I'm rational and analytical (probably due to my career as a solicitor/lecturer!). I still work as an online lecturer but this is flexible both time wise and geographically. Its almost like being retired!
I love walking and hiking. Perhaps not as far or as quickly as I did 30 years ago but still the love of the outdoors is there. I have a dog and am out for at least 2 hours a day. I also swim (dip) on at least a weekly basis in the sea.
I enjoy theatre and concerts. I love different types of music from classical to rock apart from country and western and even that I would enjoy seeing/hearing live. I love dancing.
I'm a member of the National Trust and enjoy visiting their properties as well as using their land. I've been fortunate to travel abroad and in the UK and would like to do more of that. I especially like to take a car to the continent . I'm not much of an all inclusive holiday person preferring to be independent.
Friends and family are very important to me. I'm an only child and so put a lot of effort into my close friends who effectively are my extended family. I'm very sociable. I have 2 grown up and independent children who live in different parts of the country and of whom I am excessively proud.
My outlook on life is to have a go at anything, as long as it doesn't involve small spaces or fairground rides. I love life.

Gosh this is hard as any relationship is based on compromise and an acceptance there will be differences! A partner who is kind and thoughtful is a must as well as one who likes some romance! I'd like a partner who is keen to travel both here and abroad. Someone who is sociable. Someone for whom family is important. Icing on the cake would be someone who likes to dance! A deal breaker would be not sharing my love of dogs!
