After nearly 3 years a widow I’ve decided it’s time to dip my little toe into the dating world - although it feels a bit more like a cannonball into the deep end.
I recently joined Classic fm dating in hopes of finding someone special to share laughter, good conversation and perhaps a cheeky glass of wine !
I keep myself busy working 3 days per week at my local Hospice recruiting volunteers. It’s fulfilling work and keeps my brain sharp.
Socially I love staying in touch with friends whether it’s nearby or scattered across the globe having lived abroad nearly 30 years mainly in the Middle East.
When I’m not working you will find me swimming lanes in our local pool, fast walking with the occasional burst of a jog or being dragged around the park with my daughters dog.
I also enjoy gardening, tackling small DIY projects and baking. I’ve become quite famous locally for my scones and Irish Brown Soda Bread.
Living on the outskirts of Bath is ideal for meet friends for a coffee, indulging in a pampering day at my friends salon or browsing the shops.
I’m lucky to have my daughter and son-in- law living nearby which means plenty of family time and dog walks.
If I had to choose a favourite word it would be “kindness”.
