I am easy going chap with an inquisitive mind, affectionate, and a playful streak. I am of Goan descent, a good mix of Portuguese/Indian cultures and educated at a Catholic boys’ school [where I get my childish humour from, love The Goon show, I’m sorry I haven’t a Clue BBC R4, The Great C4]. Eternal optimist, will find something positive even during the darkest hour.
Eclectic taste in music from Baroque to the Stones. Love all forms of the arts & culture and enjoy participating in sport and attending live events. Regularly visit London to enjoy all it has to offer and the delights of the countryside and seaside which are on the doorstep.
I have been lucky to have worked abroad and travelled extensively through it and pleasure, however, lots of places still to see.
After a long career as a banker, to give something back to society, I became a local councillor and volunteered for a couple of local charities.
Retired last year with plans on spending more time having fun, travelling and playing sport badly!
Have a wonderful daughter at uni. and a good group of friends and neighbours.
