About him
I would like to think I am a young-for-my-age, fit, active and interesting guy despite having just recently (July) seen the age dial turn over once again!
I had difficulty finding a personal up-to-date photo but, for the avoidance of any doubt about its age, I have posted one (a bit formal perhaps) cropped from a quite recent family event and this is available to view by my favourites and on request.
Accepting the obvious limitations to enjoyment now on one's own, I try to enjoy life to the full with a wide range of interests and activities, sporting and cultural.
I am fortunate in having a great group of friends to share these but it's just not the same as being in a closer one-to-one.
I play tennis and croquet and go out on walks - all at least weekly and I am kept very busy in my garden as now the sole gardener in the house.
I enjoy good food and wine whether in someone's home or dining out, including abroad where I am confident ordering and conversing in other languages.
I have always relished UK and foreign travel experiences, often arranged independently and in my family car or a hired car. I have recently also successfully tried foreign trips with a company dedicated to organising these for singles - but, enjoyable as these trips were, there was still that personal sharing element missing.
I regularly attend at concerts, theatre and cinema and, being very interested in current affairs, delight in conversations about all of these with equally interested others.
I consider myself relaxed, honest, loyal, reliable, sociable, fun-sharing, interesting, adventurous, open, trusting, considerate, well-presented and well-mannered - hopefully an attractive profile for the right lady out there!
