About her
During the day sometimes you will find me using my skills (PA and admin) for some sort of charity/church or stained glass making, baking, gardening or connecting with family and friends. If the sun is shining I will be in the garden or on my bicycle or walking with friends and their dogs now I no longer have one. I live in cycling heaven in S Devon - mostly flat! Exercise daily - David Lloyd close by so gym work, spinning and pilates at present. Wordle and Times Quick Cryptic crossword completed over morning coffee. In the evening you will find me in the kitchen with a glass of something maybe finishing the last clue not completed earlier. Love entertaining but sadly not so much fun on ones own so probably watch too much tv. Varied music in the background - from Coldplay to Mozart Requiem (absolute favourite) and everything in between. Loving National Theatre Live which happens locally along with a million other things - I live in a great community. Love company and hosting - breakfast outside in the sunshine my favourite - sadly not often in the UK! My glass is always half full. Am told am a good cook and have good wit and banter. Love to laugh and be made to laugh. Motivator, encourager, practical, organiser but happy to have all that done for me too. Widowed (husband and son within 6 weeks in 2024) Two children and 8 grandchildren....... here and abroad. Active Christian. Thrive on good company and sunshine....... washed down with a glass of something........ How does the SW grab you?
About her ideal match
Someone who can make me laugh and enjoy being cherished and share activities but equally happy for each to do our own thing - easily comfortable in company or alone. An interest in cooking would be welcome but not compulsory. Enjoys good banter, concerts (Cathedral 15 mins away), sport, etc. DIY skills would be a bonus! Cares about what he looks like - not a fashion icon but dresses smartly and well and cares about his personal hygiene. Appreciates stylish dining as well as al fresco in the garden with friends - especially ad hoc invitations when the mood is right. I have a great pool of friends. Family (1 daughter in USA and 1 son in UK and 8 grandchildren) are extremely important to me but do not dominate my life. Am not a skier, golfer, bridge player or sailor so those are a no no.
