Fun, quirky, slightly eccentric but in a nice way, kind, creative and I love to laugh, pretty chilled most of the time tho can have a wee bit of a temper at times...but takes a lot for it to rear its head. Very spiritual but like to think I'm very grounded in my spirituality and not too 'woo woo'. Can be quite shy initially until I get to know someone.
I love all animals - rescue many - and I'm in my element being in nature or by the sea. My feet are always mucky from walking my two dogs barefoot on grass! Night time star gazing and whistling to bats inspires me more than going to a pub!
Proper bookworm and recently got into Audible and LOVE listening to books. Budding artist when the mood takes me. Also really enjoy a good action/ sci fi movie. Interested in politics. I love the theatre - ballet, concerts, comedy - ( BIG Count Arthur Strong Fan!) - some musicals like Hamilton.
Rubbish cook but I burn stuff well! Also rubbish house keeper - life is too short to spend it with a duster and hoover in your hand. HATE shopping centres with a vengeance so am not a 'typical' woman that way. Have no coordinated handbags and shoes!
Worked as a touring session singer / performing arts lecturer at Uni level/ Staff Nurse. Retired from all that now so concentrating on being a singer/ songwriter, which I love! Also have a small online shop.
Adventurous, very world travelled so prefer to explore the UK more now - tho there are still a couple of places I'd like to visit.
Relaxed and easy going though get very angry at discriminating and unjust situations.
Spoiler alert: due to very bad experiences with alcoholics ( my father being the first), I'm very uneasy around people who need to drink every day...sorry.
