I'm forward looking, prefer to talk on ideas rather than things unless on culture, wine and good food experiences. Always humourful, courteous and think on the other person first and what she wants. Dream with my eyes open, like style rather than fashion. I've just moved to Aberdeen city centre.
Always seeking out and visiting galleries and cathedrals when on travels, I prefer "Old world" than new town (although the Edinburgh New Town is a stylish old town), if you know what I mean.
I'm a polymath: an entrepreneur, innovator and inventor in science, space, maritime, aviation, general business, and also fashion hence form, shape, pantones (I like regal colours) are important to me. I'm tall and slim, sophisticated as far as someone from Perthshire can be, and after university (St Andrews) lived abroad for a time. I'm self-made, my politics are on a what's right basis so difficult to align with a party.
I'm a good and modest cook, thinking on the best ingredients, not Gordon Ramsay but more on a minor gastro pub level (that's the modest bit). Handily one of Scotland's oldest wine cellars is nearby which I tend to use as my wine rack, I prefer old world wines (French, Italian, Spanish) and would as an aperitif have a cold Pieroni beer or a vodka martini shaken and not dirty. A cooking tip I've found is when cooking chicken breast first marinate in Greek (style) yogurt and bicarbonate of soda, wash off before pan frying. After cooking the chicken will be surprisingly tender. Also my tiramisu is to die for, a secret is to layer with Nutella, the actual secret being that Nutoka from Aldi is the same as Nutella but a third of the price. That's your subscription paid for!
