About her
Even the most optimistic of us realise that as you approach 70 we need to relish every moment of life and to this end I am saying living life to the full, everything from a pottery course ( I was total rubbish but loved the laughs) heading to India for 3 weeks in the run up to Christmas and I've danced in the dark at a festival but I love the quiet moments at home in my garden, watching the Perseids meteor shower at midnight a few weeks ago. I want to continue to do things like this until the soul (and the knees) give up.
I love travelling and have done a great deal and would like to continue but with global warming very much in mind, it does't have to involve flying but NO I will not join you on a cruise, they would be my idea of hell.
I walk a great deal accompanied by my trusty hound and if possible by the sea where I can swim (the dog is a coward and won't) I surf and last year learned to paddleboard, only in a harbour so may not be trying it on the sea.
I love reading and I like to own books as I need to refer back to them, they are friends but have downsized so try to keep book ownership to a minimum and so far I'm failing! I garden, go the cinema theatre and love going to London.
I have no idea how my friends would describe me but my daughter says I am bat fit crazy, that may or may not help you.

My ideal match....an impossible question, tolerant and kind and laughs. Looks aren't the thing that's most important it is personality. Basically I'm looking for a mature saint who'll put up with me and in return I will do the same for you..even if you have holes in jumpers, are absent minded and wonderfully eccentric then you are welcome and I'd love to meet you to cook you meals, make you cakes, argue over the newspapers, weep at films and be silent together.
I would like a serious relationship but I don't want to marry again purely because it would mess up the pension!
