I try to be a good person - kind, loyal, supportive. Enjoy a lot of different things, maybe too many! Walks with my dogs, festivals, gigs, independent journalism, podcasts, substack, cooking from scratch always, improving fitness, weights, clean diet, ideas & philosophies, meditation.
My teenage son lives with me along with the two rescue greyhounds. I've worked in the NHS and care sector with autistic spectrum adults.
Brought up in a house where music was very important, mostly trad jazz and classical music - developed a liking for Celtic music - Irish & Scottish and folk genres from other cultures. Play guitar & mandolin in a Norfolk ceilidh band which gives me licence to wear bright shirts and grow long straggly hair ( aiming for Robert Plant but maybe more Worzel Gummidge - maybe why my photo was rejected!)
This year I got a TV licence just to watch the Euro football but usually don't watch TV at all (or football) unless it's on YouTube eg old 'Live at the Apollo' or some mindless fun like 'Would I lie to you'. TV & social media can be an enormous waste of time!
For holidays or breaks I prefer hiking or looking round fine cities. We have great beaches here but to my mind they're for walking along in bare feet rather than lying on.
