I am an animated teacher who is secretly terribly introverted. I would rather listen to some great music and read than ever go out, but I enjoy hiking and camping, recharging in the cool woods or by a mountain stream. A former choir and comprimario singer, I enjoy performing or attending performances in all genres. I like to work with my hands, love my houseplants and my two daughters on whom I dote. I love the idea of travel, but not of crowds, though I have been abroad on numerous occasions. I love learning and trying new things, I dabble in leatherwork and want to improve my dismal cooking skills.

My ideal match would be a person who appreciates me, is shockingly intelligent and dry humored. Someone who speaks their mind and can take and give compliments, but who is not overly complicated. I want someone who is independent and self-sufficient and is with me, not because they need me but rather because they choose me; I want an equal strong partner who wants to learn everything that makes life spectacular while we are still here. I love animals but would not play third wheel, I do not rely upon hopes and prayers to make the world better, nor do I follow any religion wrought by the hands of corrupted individuals and blind adherence to such hypocrisy would be a dealbreaker for me.
