Fun, laughter, variety is the spice of life! I'm a positive person who loves good food, good wine and good company. Love the outdoors, fresh air, walks on the beach - summer or winter. I play tennis at a pretty basic level and have just started to learn to play golf too. I enjoy photography - sold my beloved Nikon just before lock down...so now just "capture the moment" on my phone. I love to read a good crime/detective story - don't watch a lot of telly but do love a bit of Nordic Noir in the winter. I'm curious, spontaneous, love to learn and try new things. Holiday wise, my skiing days are probably over but......I adore being in the mountains and also enjoy a good book in the sun by a swimming pool so long as there are some local villages to explore too. Always love a city break - Riga, Budapest and Tallin a few of my favourites. I've had a varied career in advertising and marketing, working with young people, and have run my own business but I've recently retired so now it's time to relax, enjoy ...and take some time for myself I have a dog - so a certain amount of planning has to be done when meeting up - she doesn't rule my life but you will need to be flexible. I'm happy and comfortable with my own company but I can think of nothing better than a shared experience. I guess I am looking for someone to have some great days out with - friendship is truly valued and if a more intimate relationship develops then important things for me are laughter, fun, reliability, kindness, a positive outlook and lots of seafood and Sancerre. :) It would be lovely to have a holiday buddy too! - someone who likes to travel and explore both in the UK and abroad.
