About her
I feel I am leading a slightly quiet social life which is a pity. I love my animals and have plenty of friends, who I hope would describe me as fun, loyal, active and some think I'm funny! Most of my friends are younger than me, I do not look or reflect my age and I put it down to a good gene pool and luck.(and of course a healthy regime!)
I have recently downsized from a country property and no longer have all the chores that kept me busy. I have a few horses (please don't be put off, I am not a 'horsey' lady) and they are now all at livery, and I love them all. I am trying to find my feet in a new town, and it is difficult to meet like minded folk.
I adore my son, daughter in law and small granddaughter and see them a lot, and love catching up over a Sunday roast.
I'm a good cook, used to do director's lunches in the City, but now tend to cheat, it's not much fun cooking for one! I was a girl of many jobs, nurse, trolley dolly, PA in advertising, fashion and law, and ended up starting a teak importation company. It did well, but I feel I missed my vocation doing something more meaningful, but my parents were not very helpful when needed.
I would love to find a man I click with, can laugh with, have serious discussions with or veg out on the sofa watching a lovely old war movie. Nothing unusual in any of that.
I love to read, I have travelled widely and am happy now to just holiday somewhere nice, watch my horses compete, I dog walk every day, listen to music, watch good dramas on the TV, and sometimes not so good dramas or terrible reality shows for a laugh! I keep starting and stopping with bridge, I used to play tennis three times a week but since moving have not yet joined a club.
I am a happy go lucky type, I like my own company, sometimes I think too much, but it would be nice to have someone special to do some of the above with.....

A silver fox. I think. An attractive one! A man who is confident and secure in himself, and who also likes his own company.
Not a totally artsy type, as I don't know enough to be interesting!
But I enjoy the odd gallery, concert, opera and love the ballet.
I do not like men who have to be busy all the time but hopefully have their own interests, and who know how to relax, like good food and wine, like a good walk with the dogs, and a good movie.
I am pretty disinterested in politics as I think they have all made an awful mess of our country, I know with covid and wars it hasn't been easy, but it would be great to see someone grasping the nettle and leading us out of it!
I do not like overly tidy, vain men who live in perfect houses. I prefer the wind blown look, and a house that looks lived in.
I am not into football or rugby, sorry, or F1 or wrestling.!
It would be easier if he lives within striking distance.
