I’m recently back in the UK after spending the last 4 years living in France and whilst being on my own is fine, it would be nice to have someone to share all the simple joys of life with.
I like to think I have a good sense of humour, enjoy polite banter and flirting and I try not to take myself too seriously, life is too short.
I love swimming, skiing and fast cars and used to be in my home town swimming team, but that was many years ago!. Holiday wise, I've enjoyed skiing (obviously), ocean cruises and motorhoming, both home and away. A new motorhome is on my list of requirements when I get settled again.
I've recently discovered that I enjoy cooking meals from scratch although it's a bit of a waste for one..
I enjoy dog walks in the countryside, sometimes the cat comes too but she soon gets fed up.
I work from home and am currently trying to get back to a proper work / life balance. It would be good to have a reason to have more free time and enjoy life with someone special again.

A sense of humour is important (the wackier and darker the better) and also the acceptance that nobody is perfect and we all have a history.
It would be great if you enjoy the countryside, cozy british pubs with a roaring fire after a winter morning dog walk, gourmet meals out or snug nights in curled up on the sofa.
