I'm a 62 year old young at heart girl who has not quite given up on the 'happily ever after' dream. Wouldn't it be lovely to share these next years with laughter and companionship.
Divorced many years ago now I like getting involved in local things so I used to ring the bells at the local church, helped with the poppy collection and during covid lockdown I gardened at the local park. I sing in a choir and have been involved in am dram for many years.
I love Britain and our countryside and want to see so much more of it. Not fussed about abroad. I did go to Kenya for two weeks, my most 'exotic' holiday but when I got back I dropped to my knees and kissed the tarmac at good old Manchester Airport 😄. Tarmac and road signage are underrated.
Would love to visit the west coast of Scotland.
I like a variety of things, a good book, a magazine, a nice cup of earl grey, a glass of wine, a rock band, a folk night...Kate Bush, Chemical Bothers, Coldplay, John Rutter...
I'm friendly, generous, considerate, hard working, conscientious, decent. I have my own house/car/financially secure having worked all my life since 16 years of age. I value my friends and family. Looked after my mum for the last few years, my son is grown up and lives distant.
