I love art history and try and go out to Italy a few times a year. I really enjoy opera and managed to get to Verona festival this year.
I’m a doctor, but thinking about a career change. I’m currently renovating a listed building in East Yorkshire. I have a pet tortoise called Harriet.
In my ideal life, I’d stay living up in Yorkshire, I’d love to have someone to spend my evenings with, sitting by the fire in winter or drinks in the garden in summer. At weekends, perhaps we’d go to an art gallery, a cathedral or just wonder round a nice little town before having dinner out somewhere beautiful. A couple of times a year, we might have a weekend in London seeing an exhibition and then dress up for something at the Royal Opera House with a glass of champagne in the interval. I’d love to show you round Florence and travel round Tuscany again. Then once we’re married, I’d love to welcome some children into our family. I need someone loving, kind, caring, honest and supportive by my side.

The dealbreakers:
Marriage is important to me and I see it as the ultimate objective of dating. After that, I think I want to have children, but probably not for a few more years.
I also want to clarify that I hold some Christian beliefs, but I don’t go to church regularly. I am open to someone who is not religious themselves, providing they don’t think all religion is ridiculous.
