Hi, I'm Matthew! I'm a Hungarian-American graduate student living in North Carolina.
I love music, reading, writing, art, and history. Traveling is important to me, and I love spending time in art museums, seeing local orchestras/operas, and trying local foods and drinks.
Music is one of the most important parts of my life. My favorite composers are Liszt, Mahler, and Rachmaninoff, but I really like anything baroque, romantic, or 20th century, and I've been getting into opera lately. I also sing orchestral choral music and love playing piano in my free time.
I'm pretty introverted, but I really open up to people when I get to know them. I love having meaningful (and endless!) conversations about literature, music, global politics, social issues, culture... anything, really!

I'm looking for likeminded people to bond over classical music with! I love connecting with people who are also open-minded and have similar interests or can talk about similar topics, but I rarely meet anyone with similar music interests/tastes.
I'm looking to return to Europe sometime in the next couple years, though I'm not sure where yet.
