Friends at my book, walking and tennis clubs all say that I'm friendly and outgoing, and very supportive and although I certainly don't seek the limelight I am often first up on the dancefloor !
I love gardening and would rather be creating something beautiful either outside or inside my home myself than going shopping. Now that I've downsized and de-cluttered this seems
less significant, perhaps I'm unconsciously into Feng Shui?
At the clubs we play tennis & padel every week which is a great source of exercise and being sociable, both of which I feel are important to a healthy body and mind !
I share a gorgeous labrador with my daughter and her 2 girls and she also joins me and the girls from our Walkie-Talkies on our monthly outings.
I love travel to broaden the mind, not to simply lounge on a beach. I was lucky enough to go to USA, Middle East and India on occasion for work which gave me the appetite to explore the wider world. I subsequently visited China, Singapore and Australia as well as extensively around Europe. However Britain has many interesting and beautiful places to explore and so I use my NT membership when I can to discover hidden gems closer to home.
I'd rather be behind the camera than in front of it and I take pleasure in making photo albums, like the lyrics of the Simon & Garfunkel album, Bookends, 'preserve your memories, they're all that's left you'. I enjoy simple pleasures, like playing games with the grandchildren, crossword puzzles and at Christmas the odd jigsaw or two.
I've a positive outlook on life - a glass half full person who would love to meet someone to keep it topped up!.
