I was widowed nearly two years ago. I have a great family including six grand children. They don't live closeby, but we are all in regular touch.
I sing in two choirs, play the piano, I really enjoy golf, and am forever seeking to improve, so far unsuccesfully. I am outgoing, enthusiastic, sharp, witty, enjoy banter, I have been told that I have a voice that can be trusted....and I am a great listener.
I attend church regularly, and enjoy the usual walks, pub visits, theatre, concerts, reading and pastimes common to guys of a certain age..!
About his ideal match
Having met a couple of lovely ladies previously via dating sites, proximity to one another ultimately became an issue. So ideally my ideal match will live within 30-40 miles of Aldeburgh (Suffolk).
My wife was poorly for a long time before she died, and I am missing the "soul mate" connection and intimacy that I had.
Sense of humour is paramount, ability to "take the mickey". I am happy to partake in any activity, doing so with a partner makes it all the more enjoyable.
I would probably struggle with someone who placed pets before partner! It would be great to meet someone who likes to cuddle and is comfortable with open signs of affection.
