I'm thoughtful, kind, caring and a good friend. Sociable and curious, I enjoy meeting new people, trying new things and am open to adventure. I have wonderful friends and family, an interesting job and a happy life but would like to meet someone lovely to make things even better.
Happiest outside, I'm energetic and very active (but not obsessed). I can often be found walking, running and swimming in the sea (spring and summer only!) When I'm not making the most of the great outdoors I love going to the cinema, theatre, eating out with friends and can also be quietly contented at home with a good book. I enjoy good food -cooking , eating and reading about it. I like eating out and love cooking for family and friends. I'm pretty easy going but here are a few things I don't like - noisy city centre nights out, rudeness, bad coffee!

Life took an unexpected turn five years ago and as I stepped out of my comfortable place I discovered a whole new chapter opening up around me. I'm now ready to take another step into the unknown and hope I might meet someone lovely for a committed and romantic relationship and who knows - maybe for the long term.

The most important thing in a potential date is someone with similar values and outlook on life. I'd probably have most in common with outdoors active people with a love of travel and adventure. Good conversation, laughter and positivity are important to me. I'm hopeful of finding someone for a long term relationship but as a first step it would be great to meet up for walks and some evenings out and see how things unfold.
