Why is it so difficult to find the right person? Still meeting a lot of rogues and time wasters hence my headline! Somewhere out there I’m sure there must be a good man waiting to meet a good woman.
OK I’m 70 but I’m young in body and spirit! My profile pic is February 2025, others end 2023. I’m very relaxed, kind, generous, loyal and loving with all my friends and would be exactly the same with the right man who eventually comes into my life. I’ve a cheeky sense of humour and I’ll laugh with you and maybe sometimes at you but am always the first to laugh at myself! Oh and I know my bad points - I’m impatient!
People seem to think if you’re on a dating site at 70 you must be looking for a ‘companion’. Let me be clear here - I already have one of those - he’s small, furry and has four legs! I’m looking for a ⚡️that might turn into a 🔥 So there has to be that initial attraction and chemistry. But I quote “physical attraction is only part of the formula - you also need laughter, music, food and friendship. You need honesty, trust, humility and a willingness to walk through the fire”.

This is a tricky question as often being attracted to a certain person is completely inexplicable. For example I’d love a dinner date with James Corden and he’s no George Clooney! Elon Musk could keep me in diamonds from Tiffany’s - wonderful - but money doesn’t make him any less obnoxious!
What I DON’T want is a man who rushes in all guns blazing only to ghost me a day later - been there, done that! And if you happen to like me but don’t like dogs then you’re barking up the wrong tree - I’ll not give up my dog for any man no matter how wonderful you are!
I’d like to meet a man who actually says what he means and means what he says i.e. honest! A man who is comfortable with our ever changing modern world but who still has traditional values, integrity and is a gentleman. Please be kind, loyal, good company, have a cheeky sense of humour and be willing to have opposing views with someone without falling out over them! You’ll have some baggage - at this age we all do! But are you emotionally ready to share things with someone new?
