About her
I'm a Londoner - and I love being here but I also love spending time in Italy. I started Italian lessons in lockdown - and now have my very own Moka machine…why did I used to think it was so complicated? I spent 5 years living abroad after university and toy with the idea now. But I love living in the UK as well!
At the moment, I am involved in a radio soap opera for my local community radio where I am a Director. Bit mad, but involves young people wanting to break into writing, acting or broadcasting. And I have to remember I volunteered for this, I’m doing it for fun!
This weekend I’m going to a story telling event and it will be my first attempt at reading my own work aloud. Looking forward to it and meeting other people who have been typing away on their laptop. It feels a good idea to have a deadline to write to…I’ll review that comment on Monday! Update: Well, it seems storytelling is not story writing. When you know, you know. So I was the only one reading my own work … but it got a good response! Even got some laughs where I was hoping for some!
Confession: I actually spend more time listening to Italian radio than I do Classic FM.
Don't tell'em though.
Theatre and film are weekly events and I’m out walking every day, sometimes with a dog beside me. I consider I am in peri- retirement and really getting into the swing of it ☺️
