About her
Because after a long and varied life I still want to seize the day. Love and laughter , sunrise , sunset , Moonlight , starry skies.
I worked in the arts in eduction for many years and through my special approach moved into pastoral and community work.
When a relative became sick and I had to be at home , I retrained in agriculture and horticulture and restored and ran a small holding.( That’s the synopsis.)
Now I live by the sea.
I have aches and pains but who doesn’t later in life? I go to classes in ballet , and tai chi. I practise pilates , alexander technique and I swim.
I am into strolling not hiking .
I write poetry and I perform it.
I could still milk a goat or cow ( by hand )dance ‘til the stars left the sky , speak poetry to you by candlelight.
I believe in reaching out to others , offering friendship.
I have an ethnically mixed background which gives me the privilege of having no prejudices except against those of right wing politics who disseminate hate.
Nature , the arts , creativity , people are my joys .
I am happy to have time alone use it to garden , write , dance or just dream.
I also love to be with friends ..cooked two hundred and forty canapés for a vegan friend’s sixtieth birthday and danced the night away two weeks ago. I am running a workshop to help nervous people perform their poetry next weekend.
This weekend I am gardening , writing , reading and cooking a roast for Sunday ..friends coming round for food , chat and music on Monday.
I will find time to be quiet in nature because it is my grounding and empowerment place ….everyone needs a bit of awe and wonder.
I do not do infidelity .. mine or anyone else’s… no judgement but by now I know what suits me.
