About him
Hello. I am 70 years old, a retired social worker who has been widows for 10 years. To get rhis out of the way early, l don't drive.
I am a people person first but also value my independence. Unfortunately l cannot give a long list of virtues and talents, but people seem to like to spend time with me.
I have a sense of humour based on a keen sense of the ridiculous, which has been variously described as "quirky" or "an acquired taste", the latter by an ex manager". I am even tempered, moderately sane and am told l am a good listener.
I have a few hobbies, although my climbing career fell off. I like dinghy sailing, walking and swimming inthe sea. t home l insult nice guitars by trying to play them, read history and some politics.....l lean leftwards
I live alone which does not really suit me, although l make a decent fist of looking after myself and the house.
My most immediate need is to meet someone to spend time with, obviously hoping for a more committed deeper relationship to develop. I miss sharing experiences, special and everyday, with a partner and would like to find love again.

I have never had a"type" or an ideal, but someone who is fun, genuine and warmhearted .....being tolerant would also be an advantage. I think l would be a disappointment to anyone who has a long bucket list of adventures.
