About her
I've always worked in the arts, first as an actor and then as an artist. Shame not as a writer as that would come in handy now. I could write something highly amusing but also sensitive and wonderfully insightful, as it is I struggle to write a postcard. It's surprising as I read copiously and feel lost without a book on the go.
I've also renovated four houses from almost derlict and done some interior design for other people.
I go to the theatre quite often and to art galleries a lot. I love reading and I'm interested in architecture, history and photography. I lived in London for years and still go back there quite often but now I live in the country.
I love anything to do with food: cooking, eating, restaurants and for a while in London I had a small catering company supplying cakes and puddings to restaurants and cafés. . I generally cook from scratch and eat pretty healthily but I never stint on cake and chocolate - no point being miserable.
I play tennis pretty much every week as well as Pilates and yoga and recently I've been seeing a personal trainer, not so much for enjoyment, as it feels quite punishing sometimes but because I really want to stave off old, creaky joints and continue to feel fit and healthy as long as I possibly can.
I like learning stuff, whatever it is - the off-side rule, some bizarre piece of information, no fact too dull. I'm curious and interested in nearly anything.
And humour is really important although you wouldn't get that from reading this rather dull biog.
Laughing with someone is what makes me feel close to them.

It would be great to match with some of the things I've mentioned in my profile but it doesn't have to be all of them and I'll be interested in things that I don't know anything about yet. I like quriosity in a person and some one who is up for trying new things. I hope you'll make me laugh but I also want to have in depth chats and generally just enjoy life together. I like travelling as well as being at home and seeing friends.
All the obvious things are important: honesty, I'd rather have difficult conversations than be told lies, integrity, kindness, of course, intelligence.....
