About her
I have recently retired after having worked for the NHS and the private healthcare sector as a Biomedical Scientist for many years. I enjoy living life to the full and consider myself very fortunate to be healthy, fit, active and possess a positive attitude! I am enjoying the freedom that retirement brings very much, but it would be even better to be able to share these times with a like minded man who has similar interests and outlook on life.
I keep fit by going for long walks most days in the beautiful countryside that surrounds me, also gardening and DIY keeps me busy. Sadly I no longer have a dog but I look after my daughter's dog occasionally which I enjoy very much.
I love the countryside, nature, wildlife, skiing, swimming and music. I play the piano and love classical, opera, also jazz and the golden oldies from my youth! I enjoy traveling and l like to explore off the beaten track to experience the true authenticity of wherever I happen to be.
I have been a National Trust member for years and visit properties regularly in my spare time. I like to explore lesser known places of interest in this beautiful country; there is so much still to see!
I like to read and listen to music on the dark wintery evenings and therefore would not describe myself as a 'telly addict' but I do enjoy a good film, drama series or documentary. I have no interest in soaps or ‘reality’ TV.

I do hope that a like minded man may be out there reading this and might perhaps say 'hello'. Someone who would like to join me on this wonderful journey of discovery, fun and romance!

I would like to meet an honest, genuine, kind, romantic man. Preferably retired or thinking about retiring in the near future!
We would have all the time in the world to enjoy life and make new memories together which is such a fortunate position to be in.
It would be lovely to experience new hobbies and interests together and share the pleasure and enjoyment that this brings as well as continue with our own well established interests. I’m open minded and quite laid back so I’m happy to let things evolve naturally and see where it takes us!
