I'm endlessly curious about life and new experiences, and, although it's a cliche, want to do as much as possible in whatever time is available. That doesn't mean I can't relax and chill out - that's a great experience too! I've recently partially retired so have more time to do all this which is great. I'm very happy to do things on my own, but a companion / partner to share some of these adventures would be very welcome. Briefly interests are - art, music, ballet, current affairs, politics, movies, cycling, travel, reading, and much more.....oh, did I mention my motorbike?....i love living in London but i do like to escape to green and peace often.

Someone, likewise, who is endlessly curious about life, who has a passion for adventure, and is open to trying anything once (within reason!). Ideally someone London based, though open to other locations. Into all things arts and culture, and travel - near and far. Someone independent and self-sufficient. Hope that's not too much. Physical intimacy is important, as is the ability to have a discussion from different viewpoints. I drink socially and would struggle with a teetotaller (though nothing of course wrong with that).
Bizarrely perhaps, to me, how you don't get on is more important than how you get on. Everyone can be nice and have fun when everything is great. How are you when there's a mis-communication, or hurt feelings, or some other falling out? Which of course there will be in any relationship lasting more than 5 minutes. Are you quick to judge, lay blame, shout, or stomp off? Or are you reflective, constructive, willing to listen? Ok maybe not straight away, everyone reacts when they feel hurt and wronged. but after a short-ish time. I'm not saying I'm perfect in this regard, but, as said, how a couple resolves conflict is just as important, to me.
