About him
Happily married for 25 years but when the kids went to university my ex and I realised that we were on different paths! We had simply drifted apart – no one’s fault! We agreed that it was time to move on and divorced eight years ago.
My kids are finding their own way in life and my job there is done. All that is now required from me is the occasional bit of advice or guidance. We remain very close.
Now it is time for me, my hopes, and dreams.
I have a real desire to travel, experience new things and seek adventure. For the first time in my life, I have both the time and means to do so but unfortunately no one meaningful to share the experiences with.
I am no “couch potato” and like to keep active at least for as long as my knackered body will let me. I go to the gym, enjoy Pilates, Padel, mountain biking, hill walking and play the occasional round of golf.
I have recently been described as a talkative, inquisitive and a generally calm individual. I’m trying to balance this by improving my listening skills! There is always room for improvement!

I don't have an "ideal" it's very much down to the individual.
Part of it is physical attraction but equally as important is someone who is open, trustworthy, honest, easy to talk to and with a similar outlook on life.
