About him
The joy of a life with my best friend and being able to care for her in her final years has left me full of a love which I want to share with another kindred spirit. Each day, I walk with the greyhound that saved me when I could find no reason to live, both in the Cotswold hills and those of central Burgundy where we have had a little house for more than thirty years. I am always struck by the beauty all around and think of the pleasure there might be in sharing it with someone special. I have a huge appetite for life, I love music, the written word, good conversation, good food and long for the company of the right woman to share it with. The time left is precious, there is so much I want to do, so many places I would love to visit, but not on my own. I want to share again, enjoy precious moments together, know again the the joy and the warmth of shared contentment.

I am not looking for a wife or housekeeper. I can cook, those I cook for, say I am an exceptional cook and I do love preparing a special meal for a special person, I do just enough housework and cleaning to avoid living in squalor. I am looking for the person who needs what I can offer and will find joy in shared experience.
